Facilities

Cropthorne and Charlton Village Hall has three function rooms:

THE MAIN HALL (12.6m x 8.1m) is ideal for plays, talks, concerts, wedding receptions and parties and can seat up to 120 people comfortably. There is a serving hatch through to the kitchen and double doors leading into the buffet room. The hall is accessed via the main entrance but also has double doors leading out to the patio and the playing field.

At one end of the hall is a raised stage, set with lights and curtains. A set of steps lead up to the front of the stage from the hall at either side; the back of the stage can be accessed from the meeting room and from a corridor that runs behind it.

The main hall’s sprung-wooden sports floor also makes it perfect for activities such as badminton or ballroom dancing.

THE BUFFET ROOM (5m x 6.5m) can seat around 20 people and is perfect for meetings, clubs, coffee mornings and smaller parties. There is a serving hatch through to the kitchen. It can be accessed from the entrance hall, main hall and patio.

THE MEETING ROOM (6.7m x 5.3m) can seat a similar number to the buffet room and is suitable for meetings and clubs. It has also been used as a quiet room for older guests or as a creche at weddings and parties. It is accessed from the entrance hall and also has ramped access directly from the car park. This room has a door through to the main hall near the stage and another at the back of the stage.
